Chinese Zodiac Revelation
I learned something new today. Well, maybe more of realized something new today.
Everytime I go into a chinese restaurant, you see the Chinese Zodiac paper, right?
Being born in 1980, I thought that I was a monkey. In reality, I am a Sheep (or goat or ram depending on the translation). Since my birthday is in January, it actually fell under the jurisdiction of the previous year's chinese zodiac animal (btw, this also applies to Ethan).
I knew the Chinese calendar worked off Moon cycles and their New Year is therefore not the same as the Gregorian Calendar. So imagine my surprise when I read on my own profile here on blogger that I am a Sheep! My belief foundation was shaken. Could I really be a goat? After all, that animal does match the astronomical sign as I am a Capricorn.
Well, you decide which one matches me better: Sheep or Monkey?
